Pocket Drug ListApp Store

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 6 November 2026

Pocket Drug List is made by me, Tom Redway (Thomas Redway on the App Store), an independent developer based in the UK. This policy covers the Pocket Drug List app and this website.

The short version

Data that stays on your device

The drug list is built into the app, so you can use it offline. Pocket Drug List has no servers of its own.

To remove this data from your device, delete Pocket Drug List from your iPhone.

Checking for updates

The app asks Apple’s public App Store lookup whether a newer version is available. This request only contains the app’s own identifier.

Purchases

If you choose to buy me a coffee, the payment is handled by Apple and I never see your payment details. Apple sends me sales reports that don’t include your name or contact details.

Crash reports and usage statistics

If you’ve chosen to share analytics with app developers, Apple sends me crash reports and usage statistics that don’t include your name or contact details. You can change this in the Settings app, under Privacy & Security, then Analytics & Improvements.

Emailing me

If you email me, I receive your email address and whatever you send. I use it to reply to you and keep it only as long as I need it to help you. My email is provided by Apple. Please don’t include any patient details.

This website

This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no third-party scripts. It’s hosted on Firebase Hosting, run by Google, which processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver pages and keep the site secure. Links to the App Store take you to Apple’s website, where Apple’s privacy policy applies.

Who else is involved

I don’t sell your data, share it for advertising or use it to track you. Apple and Google process data as described above, under their own privacy policies, and may do so outside the UK. The only third party that receives data from the app is Apple, which provides the same or equal protection of your data as this policy. I’d only share anything else if the law required me to.

Your rights

I’m the data controller for emails you send me, and I rely on my legitimate interests in supporting Pocket Drug List to use that data.

Under UK data protection law you can ask to access, correct, delete or get a copy of this data, and you can object to or restrict how I use it. Email me and I’ll reply within one month.

You can withdraw your consent at any time by turning off camera access in the Settings app. To have an email from you deleted, ask me.

If you’re unhappy with how I’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Changes to this policy

If anything changes, I’ll update this page and the date at the top.
